Why should you choose Smile Wide?
The reason so many dentists and dental technicians trust Smile Wide to design their patient’s digital treatment plans is that they are provided by the dentist themselves. When the raw data that we need to begin with is produced by a qualified dental professional, we know that we have the best possible source to produce our best work.

Why your dental process should go digital?
There are a number of reasons why you should start offering your patients Smile Wide’s Digital services but, essentially, it’s because they mutually benefit both you and your patients:
Increased accuracy – Using digital workflow to create Computer Aided Designs (CAD) ensures that the information that we have to produce your digital plan is incredibly accurate. It goes without saying that the digital software that we use is infinitely more accurate than the traditional method of capturing a patient’s smile measurements.
Made by dentists – If you combine the accuracy of the digital orthodontic designs with our personal experience and input of being dentists, then you know that the product you receive will be of the highest possible quality.
More efficient – Digital dentistry can produce your desired product in a fraction of the time, which makes it more time-efficient and more cost-efficient, too.
Patient confidence and satisfaction – Once your patients see the results that we produce for you, they’ll never want to go anywhere else!
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do we use CBCT scans for our digital treatment plans?
The answer to this is simple: speed and accuracy. Cone-beam computed tomography (or CBCT for short) produces a 3D replica image that is virtually 1:1 in scale, so in-depth analysis, references, and minute changes can be made from any angle. It’s so malleable, in fact, that we can even anticipate how soft tissue will interact with the skeletal components.
The data that it produces is incredibly accurate and intricate, making it the perfect blend of state-of-the-art technology and exceptional results – all with the maximum amount of freedom in terms of being able to change the design before it is finalised – without the associated cost of multiple physical models.
Do we manufacture the final products?
No, we don’t. However, we do work closely with trusted partners across the UK who can manufacture the final products to the highest possible standard for you. If you are a dental manufacturer with experience in CAD Digital Smile design who would like to work with professional dentists and join our trusted supplier list, then get in touch.
How long does it take for the digital treatment plan to be completed?
This is where we really excel above traditional methods and other CAD providers. Once we have received the relevant information from the dentist, they will have the digital treatment plan returned to them for approval in just 5 working days.
Do I get free designs?
Absolutely! Smile Wide provides one FREE final refinement design for every case that we help to develop.
Can I choose my own teeth movement constraints?
Yes, you can! We normally use our own Gold Standard teeth movement constraints, but every dentist can choose their own preferred protocol.
