Sharing A Smile Transformation Journey
We are excited to share an incredible smile transformation journey with you. Meet our lovely patient, Ragen. She visited one of our amazing dentists to explore options for improving the alignment of her beautiful smile.
Like many of us, Ragen wanted straighter teeth but wasn’t keen on wearing fixed braces. That’s why we decided to use clear aligners to align her smile.
After thorough discussions between our team and the dentist, and between the dentist and Ragen, we devised a comprehensive plan to achieve the smile she desired in the quickest and most predictable way. We presented Ragen with a detailed case plan, outlining her clear aligner journey.
We divided the treatment into two stages.
In the 1st stage, we addressed all the horizontal movements and aligned all the teeth except for the UL2 and UR2, which required significant rotation. Once these teeth were fully rotated and aligned, we moved to the 2nd stage, extruding the lateral incisors using buttons and elastics instead of attachments.
This approach allowed us to complete the treatment more efficiently and achieve the stunning smile Ragen was aiming for.
The final results: as shown in the photos, were achieved with 21 aligners and one refinement.
